This is a gorgeous two year old filly. I have been working her on the ground and made a lot of progress this eve. She just seemed to be saying, "More, more. Teach me more."
This eve I taught her to stop on command and back and respond to a light rein right and left. I worked her all evening with my heavy saddle and my training snaffle bit.
I like to use my post because it is much strong than me, but she thinks it IS me.
I got up and down about twenty times on each side not quite getting into the saddle, and then just got on. She was so calm. So I had her walk forward and back.
With all of the work and it being warm, she became pretty wet with sweat but stayed very cool and calm brain wise.
She is going to be such a great horse. A keeper.
